Always there for you: the online services of your AOK Rheinland/Hamburg

From the branch office online to virtual consultation hours - your AOK Rheinland/Hamburg is there for you with a wide range of online services. We introduce you to the digital services and show you why they can be a good and secure solution for you.

Advice, information, administration - you no longer have to pick up the phone or go to an AOK office near you. Instead, visit the digital office in the form of the online portal Meine AOK. The special feature: It's there for you anytime, anywhere.

"Meine AOK" can be accessed via your computer, tablet or smartphone in the browser and in the app. Many different functions are available to you there:

• Access and manage personal data
  Here you can change your personal data, for example after a wedding or a move.
• Digital mailbox
  You receive digital notifications and documents and have the option of sending messages to your AOK. This helps you avoid piles of paper at home.
• Applications and certificates
  You can conveniently apply for sickness benefit, child sickness benefit or maternity benefit here. Simply upload the necessary documents.
• Tracking applications 
  In the "My processes" section, you can view the current processing status for many applications, for example for applications for sickness benefit, children's sickness benefit and maternity benefit.
• Cost reimbursements
  You can upload evidence and invoices for cost reimbursements here.
• Viewing sick notes 
  View all sickness reports from the last four years that your doctor has sent to the AOK.
• Requesting certificates
  If you ever need a membership certificate, for example for university, you can request it here.
• Applying for an electronic health card
  Lost your card? You can request a new Electronic Health Card (eGK) via "My AOK". You can also update the picture here.
• Viewing electronic patient receipts
  You can view your electronic patient receipt (ePQ) at any time. This means you always have an overview of the services that have been billed to the AOK via your electronic health card.

In addition to the online portal, the "My Life" app with many new functions will be available to you from January 2025 - the electronic patient file (ePA) will also be integrated there.

There will also be the online My AOK Employer Service especially for employers. Its aim is to make it even easier, faster and more secure for corporate customers to communicate with their health insurer. The first function to be set up is an electronic mailbox. Among other things, it will be possible to exchange documents in compliance with data protection regulations.

As a member of AOK Rheinland/Hamburg, you benefit from extensive services in the areas of health promotion, health care and advice. A digital tool is available to help you find the right benefits for you personally: You can use the benefits compass to conduct a targeted search. Select whether you are an employee, pensioner, trainee, student or self-employed and which topics are particularly important to you: for example, bonus programs, supplementary insurance, family or travel. The online tool will then suggest the benefits that might interest you.

It is often not so easy to find the right place to go for your medical concerns. When looking for a suitable specialist, you can use the AOK Health Navigator. It helps you to find a suitable general practitioner or specialist, psychotherapist, hospital or midwife. By entering your zip code or street, you can easily search for doctors' surgeries in your area. Finally, you can arrange your doctor's appointment online.

Make your life more active, reduce stress, find a good way to deal with illnesses in your family: our online programs and coaching sessions support you with a program and training plan tailored to your individual needs as well as intensive support from our online coaches. You are flexible in terms of time and can take part from anywhere using a computer or smartphone.
These online coaches are available to you:

• Online diabetes coach: supports people with type 2 diabetes mellitus in finding a positive way of dealing with the disease and making the necessary lifestyle changes.
• Family coach cancer: Relatives of cancer patients are exposed to various stresses in their everyday lives. The cancer family coach helps you to protect yourself from emotional, physical or social overload.
• Family coach for depression: People caring for a depressed relative often neglect their own health. E-health services such as the family coach for depression offer support here.
• Familycoach for children's anxieties: Many children have anxieties - this is part of normal development. However, if they become too strong, they put a strain on the child and the whole family. The child anxiety family coach supports you and your child with helpful methods to overcome social and emotional anxiety situations.
• FamilyCoach Care: Caring for relatives can be very stressful - also for the soul. The online self-help program aims to help you protect yourself from overload and deal with mental challenges.
• ADHD parent trainer: ADHD symptoms challenge adults when dealing with affected children. The ADHD parent trainer offers practical help in specific everyday situations.
• AOK-liveonline: This stands for online coaching on health topics such as stress, relaxation or nutrition. Web-based lectures and courses for schoolchildren, trainees and students also provide information on topics such as job applications, exams and exam stress or going abroad.
• Online courses: AOK offers numerous online courses to promote your fitness and health. They focus on nutrition, mindfulness, exercise and prevention. Perhaps there is a suitable course for you.

With the video consultations of the AOK-Clarimedis specialist teams, you can get medical advice from the comfort of your own home. The experts will advise you on orthopaedics, oncology, pregnancy and childbirth.

Appointments can be booked online free of charge for insured persons. To do so, select the desired team, click on "To make an appointment" and briefly describe your concerns. The link you will receive in a confirmation e-mail will take you to a virtual waiting room for the agreed appointment and you will then be connected to the appropriate doctors. They will be happy to advise you on your concerns. However, they do not make diagnoses. You should also continue to see your GP or specialist for prescriptions, certificates or certificates of incapacity for work.

You can use the video consultation from all your internet-enabled devices, for example your smartphone, tablet or laptop. All your device needs is a webcam, a microphone and a stable internet connection. As with the entire online service, data protection is of course our top priority: your data is not stored long-term and is not passed on.
